MiEN Company Appoints Krzysztof Skrzypek as VP of Finance
MiEN strengthens executive leadership team with new VP of Finance hire
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – July 5, 2022 – MiEN Company has announced that Krzysztof (Chris) Skrzypek is joining the company as its VP of Finance. In his new role, Skrzypek will coordinate with MiEN’s business units, vendors and sales teams to guide the company’s growth and strategic direction as it designs and installs active learning environments that adapt to pedagogical needs.
Skrzypek comes to MiEN with significant experience in project management, strategy building and financial leadership. Most recently, he was a sales director for Farmers Insurance Group where he oversaw sales and profit execution for one of the company’s business insurance markets. During Skrzypek’s more than 17 years at Farmers Insurance, he’d previously earned titles such as distribution strategic director and finance manager. In these positions, he collaborated with Farmers’ executive team on planning and execution of all company objectives.
Previously, Skrzypek served as controller and financial analyst at Horizon Group Properties in Michigan from 2004 to 2006. There, he worked with Horizon’s CFO on financial statements and refinancing forecasts. Before Horizons, Skrzypek was a controller for an Illinois construction company from 2002 to 2004. He was responsible for all financial reporting to the CFO as well as updating budgets and forecast models to maintain the company’s financial stability.
