Meet the New MiEN Educational Expert in Learning Space Design, Dr. Counts!
Dr. Christina Counts, VP of Education for MiEN is a proven leader with a successful background in transforming learning spaces to modern engaging learning environments. In her current position, Christina leads a team of professionals that support schools making the transition to a flexible, collaborative, & student-centered learning space. Dr. Counts envisions a learning space in which educators are empowered to transform education through design, technology and innovative instructional pedagogy to create learners ready for any future!
Before joining MiEN Environments, Dr. Counts served as the Director of Design and Development for a national K-12 dealer where she was instrumental in the development of the Learning Environments Design Team, Educational Content Leader, and creation of Professional Development for K-12.
Dr. Counts worked with Charleston County School District for over 17 years with experience as a classroom teacher, district instructional leader, school administrator, and digital and innovative learning designer. Linking instruction, technology, and the physical environment is her expertise.
