EDspaces 2023: Discover Esports Innovation with MiEN Environments

Plus, meet Martin Fritzen, MiEN’s top esports expert, who will be joining us at the MiEN booth (#755), the Esports Studio (#778), and to present a session on esports space design.

At EDspaces 2023, learn all about the latest educational furniture and technologies used in the esports industry at The Esports Studio sponsored by MiEN Environments. This gaming lounge will give attendees the opportunity to be a spectator to live esports competitions and learn tips for designing your own gaming setup. This innovative, interactive esports lounge is an EDspaces specialty space, located in booth 778 in the exhibition hall.

MiEN’s premier esports advisor, Martin Fritzen, will be visiting The Esports Studio throughout the conference to connect with school esports leaders and share creative ideas for designing a functional and comfortable esports space. Martin has a background in acquiring esports funding and building esports programs that positively transform people. He helps schools, companies, and governments develop profitable esports programs and shares his insights on the industry as an esports expert and opinion leader.

2. Elevating Educator Well-Being: The Blueprint for Transformative Teacher Spaces

Join MiEN’s VP of Education, Dr. Christina Counts, to delve into the critical role that teacher workroom space design plays in not only attracting and retaining quality educators, but also in fostering their wellbeing. As the educational environment has evolved, teacher spaces should, too, and the Elevating Educator Well-Being: The Blueprint for Transformative Teacher Spaces presentation examines how educator workspaces of the future can become more than just break rooms and storage.

3. The Desk Is Not the Stage: Empowering Students Through Mobile Classroom Design

The traditional classroom layout with a large, stationary teacher desk at the front, is a relic of an outdated, teacher-centered approach to education. In the Desk Is Not the Stage: Empowering Students Through Mobile Classroom Design session, learn from MiEN’s Vice President of Strategy & Development, Kevin Ecarius, who will discuss how adopting a new approach to teacher desks can lead to transformative changes in classroom dynamics, shifting the focus from passive learning to a student-centered, active learning environment.
